You must be a
member before you apply for night permit and 18 yrs or over ,
Passport Potograph is required for night permit. numbers are
restricted.

NOTE: It is essential to carry a National Fishing Licence at all
times when fishing our waters.

Membership Rules
RULES
These rules are firm
and are planned to help us help you, please abide by them. If you
want any advice, or to pass on any information please direct this
through the Associate Membership Secretary.
IN
CONSIDERATION OF THE MEMBERSHIP WHICH IS OFFERED TO ME I AGREE TO
ABIDE BY THESE RULES AND ACCEPT THAT:
l. I have no rights to
vote on or make proposals in the business of the Central
Association of London & Provincial Angling Clubs following my
choice and acceptance of Membership. (See the News
Page)
2. The Membership Guide Book/Privilege Ticket hereafter called the
Privilege Ticket is the property of the Association and is held by
me named therein, and is not transferable.
a) I will affix an up
to date photograph of myself in the place provided immediately on
receipt, and sign across the corner of the
photograph.
b) I will not deface or
misuse my Privilege Ticket and will carry it at all times when on
an Association Fishery. ANY misuse of my Privilege Ticket will
render me liable to disqualification.
c) Any bailiff is
empowered to demand to see my Privilege Ticket when on an
Association Fishery and can insist on my leaving immediately if I
cannot produce it. A proven member without a Privilege Ticket will
be subject to the cost of a day ticket.
3. I will not fish on
any Fishery listed in this Privilege Ticket as ROTA, on a Sunday,
or any Fishery booked for any of the Association
Competitions.
4. Before I fish on any Fishery listed in this Privilege Ticket I
will obtain the appropriate River Authority licence(s) and will
abide by their bylaws applicable to me.
5. I will not take any non fishing guest onto any fishery other
than those indicated in this Privilege Ticket.
6. Any infringement of these rules by myself or my non-fishing
guest can result in the cancellation of my membership.
7. I shall not act in any way prejudicial to the interests of the
Central Association of London & Provincial Angling Clubs and
its members.
MEMBERSHIP RULES - Fisheries
1. I understand that on all waters of the Association not more than
two rods are to be used at one and the same time.
2. I understand that all fish will be weighed at the bank and
returned alive to the water.
3. If I leave a rod and line unattended, the hook will be removed
from the water, the bait removed and the hook left safe.
4. I understand that no Barbel,
Carp or distressed fish are to be retained in keepnets.
They can be
weighed and must be returned immediately to the water.
5. I shall not take any tin cans or glass bottles apart from those
containing medical prescriptions on to any Association Fishery at
any time.
6. If I arrive at any of
the Association Fisheries and find evidence of dead
or dying
fish I will immediately notify the General Secretary/Fisheries
Officers and/or the appropriate Waters Authority. Delay could mean
the loss of the entire stock,
7. I understand that no member shall take or permit to be taken any
dog, gun or other weapon on to an Association Fishery, or the land
adjacent thereto unless he has prior written permission from the
General ... Secretary. This permission is not normally given.
8. I will keep to the footpaths and use stiles and/or gates to gain
access ensuring that all gates are closed behind me.
9. I understand that every member of the Association will collect
any litter in the area that they intend to fish BEFORE THEY START
FISHING. This must be removed from the fishery.
10. I understand that
night fishing is not allowed on Association Fisheries. This means
that all anglers must be clear of the venue by the published times,
except at designated venues with special permit.
11. I understand that no member shall play or permit to be played
any radio, record player or musical instrument on any Association
Fishery or land adjacent thereto.
12.
I understand that no member will damage or harm in any way any
trees,
crops, fences, livestock or machinery on or adjacent to Association
Fisheries,or do any bait digging or digging out of
banks.
13. I understand that there is no fishing within 10 (ten) metres of
overhead cables.
14.
I understand that no member, with the exception of official working
parties, shall light or permit to be lit any fires on any
Association Fishery or the land adjacent
thereto.
15. I understand that no member shall fish on any of the closed
Association Fisheries during the closed season, i.e. March 15th to
June 15th inclusive.
16 All members fishing
any of the association waters must at all time have a set up
landing net which is ready for use.
